Comments

Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Account Deletion Process
Wallet and Transactions
If you have an available balance in your Jipay wallet;
Please initiate a withdrawal to your M-Pesa number before requesting account deletion. Withdrawals are processed within 48 hours.
If you have pending transactions;
Kindly ensure all transactions are completed or reversed where necessary. After the deletion is processed, you will not be able to access your Jipay wallet or any transaction history.
If you choose to proceed without withdrawing your remaining balance;
Your account will be closed and any unwithdrawn funds will be forwarded to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority within 45 days.
Services and Access
Once your account deletion request is processed;
You will not be able to log in or create a new Jipay account using your current phone number or email address.
All Jipay services will be disabled;
This includes making payments, initiating withdrawals, viewing transaction history, accessing your wallet, and using any integrations linked to your account.
Account and Data Handling
Your account data will be scheduled for deletion after 45 days;
We will only retain information that is legally required.
During the 45 day window;
You may contact us at any time if you wish to recover your account.
You may also request a copy of your archived transaction data at any point.
